FavCasinos is an independent review platform. Our ratings and recommendations are based solely on our editorial team's genuine assessment of each casino. No operator can pay for a favourable review or a higher ranking.

We have affiliate arrangements with some of the casinos we review. Every casino is scored objectively against the same eight weighted criteria, each rated out of 10. The weights (which sum to 100%) reflect how much each area matters to a UK player, and the overall score is their weighted average — always computed, never hand-set:

• Safety & Licensing (20%) — UKGC licence confirmed on the public register, funds protection tier, independent fairness certification (e.g. eCOGRA), and complaint/ADR record.
• Payout Speed (15%) — Measured time from withdrawal request to funds received per method, presence of withdrawal fees, and how standard KYC and return-to-source practices affect the first payout.
• Game Library (15%) — Total game count, spread of tier-one studios, depth across slots / table / live, and published per-game RTP transparency.
• Bonus Fairness (12%) — Wagering multiple, max-win and max-cashout caps, bonus expiry, and eligible-game weighting — taken from the operator's published significant terms, not marketing copy. Since 19 January 2026, UKGC Social Responsibility Code provision 5.1.1 caps bonus wagering requirements at 10x where the rule applies.
• Payment Options (10%) — Breadth of supported deposit/withdrawal methods (debit, e-wallets, Apple/Google Pay, Faster Payments), minimums, and absence of fees.
• Mobile Experience (10%) — Native app / responsive site performance, navigation and bet-slip reliability, and feature parity with desktop, tested on a real device.
• Customer Support (8%) — Channels offered (live chat, email, phone), measured response time and quality, and hours of availability.
• Responsible Gambling Tools (10%) — Every UKGC-licensed casino connects to GAMSTOP — we score what varies: the depth of the toolset (deposit, loss and session limits, reality checks, time-outs) and how easy the tools are to find and use.

Only UK-licensed casinos holding a valid licence on the UKGC public register are eligible for review, and a score is published only once its underlying basis has been verified.

We only list and review casinos that hold a valid licence issued by the UK Gambling Commission, verified against the UKGC public register.

Offshore and “non-GamStop” sites — those operating without being UK-licensed — are not eligible for listing regardless of their global reputation. Online casino games are legal and regulated in Great Britain under licences issued by the UK Gambling Commission. Our editorial scope is British online casinos.
